Bedraggled in Brisbane

It's STILL raining in Brisbane and throughout much of South East Queensland. I suspect it's about time to start building the ark - wild winds, sideways rain...when is this feral weather going to end??

I dragged out this picture I took six months ago of a young sea bird that perched on my neighbour's balcony throughout a particurly heavy rain dump. I remember wondering then if the rain would ever stop.
